Heartland Marimba

Heartland Marimba is the world’s only touring classical marimba organization. Renowned throughout the US and abroad, they consistently bring an exhilarating and masterful performance every time with musical variety from Latin American highlights, Classical favorites, zippy new compositions, and contemporary masterpieces!

HM collaborates around the country with orchestras, choirs, wind ensembles, and university percussion ensembles. They can be seen performing in venues of all kinds with engaging programs for all ages. Now in their 11th season, HM has 11 tours planned and is collaborating with entities such as Fiesta Cultural, National Music Museum, Met Chorale, Bel Canto Choir, and Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. HM is organizing the Musser Marimba Festival Orchestra, an ensemble of 60 performers in October.

For their MAX showcases, three HM artists will present a fast-paced review of music from their Elaboration tour featuring Spanish and Latin dance tunes, contemporary high-energy originals, and Liszt’s Grand galop chromatique!
